*WOW Your Guests!

Simple Ways To Make Your Wedding Totally You

Wow Effect.... A special state of mind usually referring to a special "view". When you are surprised by something wonderful or really great you get the WOW Effect.

We hope the following information will help you to get the WOW Effect for your wedding.

When you are planning your wedding ask yourself: Do I need the most expensive dress or the huge elaborate floral arrangements? Do I need the most expensive venue or the most elaborate decorations? OR do I want our day to be filled with fun, family, friends and an expression of each of us, leaving our guests saying "Wow, that was the best wedding I've ever been to!"

Often you get caught up in what the Wedding Industry tells you what you will need for the Perfect Wedding. Leaving you wondering how you can possibly have it on your budget.

What they often neglect to tell you is that the Perfect Wedding is the one filled with personal, unique touches that say something about each of you. And the best part is it doesn't have to cost a fortune.

This is what we like to call the WOW Effect.

"WOW" is that overwhelming moment when you are so moved you can't express it except to say "Wow".

Have you ever walked along a beach at sunset or walked along a path with a spectacular view or heard a piece of music that was so powerful it left you speechless. These moments often are so overwhelming and touching that we can only say "Wow".

When you create the WOW Effect at your wedding your guests will be so impressed and truly feel a part of your day. They will "get' who each of you are and why this day is important to you. They will know your story.

When your wedding is a total unique expression of each of you, your guests will be wowed.

They will fell connected and involved in your day, which means they will have fun and it will be unforgettable.

Phrases like "I had the best time ever" or "That was the best wedding I have ever been to" or "Wow, what a great time" will be heard after you WOW your guests.

You will not hear "It was just another wedding" or "Yeah, we had an O.K. Time" or "Been to one wedding, been to them all."

How do you WOW your guests? You must get them involved, make them feel connected and engage them.

The key to the WOW Effect is something called "engagement"

Engage means "to occupy the attention of someone" or "to attract and please".

It's what happens when you are really into whatever you are doing.

This is the secret of life... to be completely engaged with whatever you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize that it is play -Alan Watts

We have all experienced types of engagement or lack of it many times. We all remember how it made us feel. When you are truly engaged, what you are doing is fun and interesting and doesn't seem like work. Why? Because you are involved and feel connected. Engagement!

When you engage and involve your guests they will feel connected, be interested and have fun.

There are three levels on which you can engage your guests; Physically, Mentally and Emotionally. And the best part is none of them are expensive.

1)Engage them in ACTION. Simply invite them to participate in a reading, performance or group activity.

2)Engage them in THOUGHT. Challenge their minds with some trivia or a game. Encourage them to use their memory or imagination.

3)Engage them in EMOTION. Get your guests involved or invested in your wedding day by touching their feelings. When they really "get" the love you both share, when they laugh or cry, they are emotionally engaged.

Combining these three levels of engagement can give you the greatest WOW Effect. But the most powerful and best suited for a romantic unforgettable event like your wedding is emotional engagement.
